APIA: WEDNESDAY 6 AUGUST 2014: A Memorial Service for the victims of the downed Malaysia Airlines MH17 is being held this evening, Thursday 7 August at the All Saints Anglican Church at Leifiifi from 5.30-6.00pm.

The Service will be in line with the National Memorial Service that will be held in Melbourne, Australia for the National Day of Mourning that Australia has declared for   tomorrow.

The Vicar of the All Saints Anglican Church, Father Ben will lead the service with reflections from the Australian High Commissioner, Sue Langford and two other Guests and a Minute Of Silence will be observed.

This service will be open to the public who wish to pay their respects to those that perished and their loved ones are welcome to attend tomorrow’s service.

The Australian High Commission is providing a Book of Condolences at its office and the Australian flag will fly at half-mast tomorrow.

27 Australians died in the crash in Eastern Ukraine 19 July 2014.
