The Kiwi Samoa to compete in the OFC Qualifying Competition in the Cook Islands

APIA, SAMOA – THURSDAY 24 JANUARY 2019: After resting for 2 years, Kiwi FC premier men’s are on the way for the upcoming OFC qualifying competition. The 2019 championship is to kick off 26th January to 1 February in the Cook Islands.

Kiwi Coach Martin Tamasese acknowledges that it’s going to be a challenging tournament especially since their opening match is against Tupapa.
“Seeing the draw and playing against them (Tupapa) in the opening match will really challenge our preparations” he said. “They will be playing on their home ground and I know they are recruiting new players.”
