Manu Samoa Captain Alesana Tuilagi

The Manu Samoa squad is in San Jose ahead of their first Pacific Nations Cup match against hosts USA on Saturday.

Training has been interrupted due to the majority of team bags only arriving today after Fiji Airways offloaded the majority of bags without the team’s knowledge in Apia on Monday.  Management are continuing to press the airline for assistance to help locate and recover the remaining bags which include training gear.

Currently the team has been undertaking light training and set piece practices with no contact training since arriving.

The team to play USA will be named later today and the Captains run tomorrow.
