Mata Tuatagaloa sworn in as Supreme Court Judge

APIA, SAMOA: FRIDAY 28 AUGUST 2015: Mata Tuatagaloa was sworn in this morning by the Head of State, His Highness Tui Atua Tupua Tamasese Efi, as Judge of the Supreme Court.

She was sworn in by the Head of State Tui Atua Tupua Tamasese Efi in the presence of the Chief Justice and members of the judiciary.

Ms. Tuatagaloa was also the first local woman to become Judge of the Samoa District Court.

Ms. Tuatagaloa in acknowledging the appointment was humbled and grateful for the trust by the Judiciary.

Chief Justice Patu Tiavaasue Falefatu Sapolu also acknowledged the appointment and welcomes Ms. Tuatagaloa to the family of Supreme Court Judges. She makes up 5 judges of the Supreme Court.
