RUGBY: Italy out to beat Manu Samoa

APIA: FRIDAY 13 JUNE 2014: After five meetings and four loses, Italy are out to make amends against Manu Samoa at Apia Park this Saturday. Their loss to Fiji last weekend 25-14 is inspiration for the visitors to score a victory in its Pacific tour.

They last beat Manu Samoa in 2009.

But Italy’s Head Coach, Jacques Brunel said it won’t be easy going up against the Manu Samoa, especially on home ground.

“The game will be very tough to us because we watched Manu Samoa during the World Cup where they fought very well,” said Brunel.

Captain, Quintin Geldenhuys, said that the game will be tough, but they are ready to take on the Manu Samoa.

Like Manu Samoa, Italy has made a few changes after losing to Fiji 25-14.
