RUGBY: Top papermaker might renew Manu Samoa sponsorship

APIA: MONDAY 8 JULY 2013: The world’s largest commercial security printer and papermaker De La Rue might renew sponsorship of Manu Samoa.

Group adviser Grahame Nathan met Samoa Rugby Union chairman Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi “to discuss means to assist with SRU’s major drive to seek commercial sponsorships for the 2013-2016,” a release says.

“Mr. Nathan and his representative, after watching SRU’s promotional video seeking sponsorship in Samoa and abroad, assured the chairman that he will contact his business partners in the UK, who might be potential sponsors for Manu Samoa 15,” it says.

De La Rue the world‘s experts in cash management, is a former sponsor of Samoa Rugby Union and assisted the Manu Samoa 2012 Northern Hemisphere Tour, together with Samoa International Finance Authority (SIFA),  Totalisator Agency Board (TAB), Ministry of Education and Digicel.

Manu Samoa winger Alesana Tuilagi was amongst SRU’s delegation at the sponsorship talks.
