APIA, SAMOA – TUESDAY 18 DECEMBER 2018: The new Samoa Airways Travel Centre in the heart of the Mangere Town Centre in South Auckland has officially opened.
The ceremony to launch the new facility was attended by the Head of State Afioga Tuimalealiifano Va’aleto’a and Masiofo Faamausili Leinafo Tuimalealiifano and Community Leaders and Representatives.
The Minister for Samoa Airways, Lautafi Selafi Purcell delivered the keynote address on behalf of the Government.
The office is located on the Ground Floor of the Samoa Consulate Complex in prime retail space and the Airline’s new hub for the New Zealand market houses the Airline’s Call Centre as well as its Travel Centre for walk-in customers.
“We’re delighted to open our office in the heart of South Auckland, a place which many of our strong and vibrant community call home,” said Lautafi.
“We are confident that the new office will go a long way in serving our people,” he added.
Samoa Airways CEO Tupuivao, Seiuli Alvin Tuala echoed Lautafi’s words and added that customers will be able to book flights and make cargo arrangements through the one-stop shop.
