APIA: 22 June 2011: Samoa has won four Gold medals so far in the second day of the Oceania Athletics Championships currently in progress at the Apia Park.
Promising shot put thrower Margaret Satupai won Gold with a 15.3 meters throw beating Rebecca Direenof Australia winning silver and Chei Kenneally of New Zealand who won bronze. She also won Gold in the hammer throw.
Young Samoan thrower Emanuel Fuamatu won Gold in the Mens Shotput with a 17.79 meter throw ahead of Joseph Dabana of Nauru and Shaka Sola also of Samoa. Fuamatu also won Gold in the hammer throw.
The last minute hosts of the Oceania Championships have so far 4 gold, 2 silvers and 1 bronze and is fourth in overall standing as the championships comes to its final day tomorrow.
