APIA: 18 July 2012: All Blacks RWC 2011 winning coach Sir Graham Henry is coming to Samoa and is bringing the Webb Ellis Cup with him.

The Samoa Rugby Union announced today that Sir Graham Henry will be accompanied by All Blacks and RWC 2011 squad member Victor Vito will arrive with the Cup on Sunday 22 July.

Part of their schedule include NPC Coaches Clinics at Leifiifi College, flying the Webb Ellis Cup to spend a few hours in Savai’i Island, a cocktail reception and time with the local media.

Henry whose had a close rugby relationship with rugby players of Pacific Island descent in his coaching career was made a Knight of the New Zealand Order of Merit last May.

Sir Graham was named 2011 coach of the year by the International Rugby Board and coached the All Blacks from 2003 to 2011.

His final game Rugby World Cup last year, beating France by one point in the final.

Victor Vito is tackled by two Wallaby defenders

Sir Graham acknowledged that he probably would not have been knighted had the All Blacks not won the World Cup. He said it was an award which he would accept on behalf of the team and management.

It is not his first time in Samoa.
