SNPF man best in customer service

APIA: FRIDAY 27 SEPTEMBER 2013: A Samoa National Provident Fund (SNPF) employee walked away with the best customer service award for this year as public service colleagues watched.

The Customer Service/ Service Delivery Initiative award was presented by the Public Service Commission (PSC) to Tuiloma Tupai Leleua NT Faitasi Gaee, Manager of Senior Benefit Funds at SNPF.

He beat Attorney General Aumua Ming Leung Wai, who however won the other category he was nominated in.

Individual winner – Aumua Ming Leung Wai (Attorney General’s Office)

Team – Corporate Service Division – Ministry of Natural Resources & Environment (MNRE)

Community Participation Initiative Award”

Individual winner – Leasi Vainalepa John Galuvao – Lands & Transport Authority (LTA)

Team – Financial Soundness Group – Central Bank of Samoa

Organisation Development & Capacity Building Organisation award:

Individual winner – Donnie De Freittas – Regulator Office

Team -Samoa Qualification Authority (SQA)

Environmental Friendly /Sustainable Development Initiative award:

Individual winner – Filomena Nelson – Disaster Management Organisation (DMO)

Team – Salelavalu Primary School -Ministry of Education Sports & Culture (MESC)

Technology & Information Management award:

No individual nominations only team – Meteorology Division MNRE

Deputy Prime Minister Fonotoe Pierre Lauofo gave the keynote address and acknowledged the service rendered by all public servants employees.

“This is how important you are to the Government who recognises your hard services,” said Fonotoe.

This is the second year when Government Ministries and Corporations gather to celebrate their service.
