APIA: 21 June 2012: Manu Samoa’s star first five Tusi Pisi is starting for Manu Samoa in Saturdays one off test against Scotland at Apia Park.

Head Coach Stephen Betham named his side today and No.10 Ki Anufe who played in the winning PNC side now sits on the bench. Missing from the line up is Alafoti Faosiliva who is injured from last Sundays match against Japan.

Betham who took over the coaching job last month says Manu Samoa’s success so far is credited to the collective effort on the part of the new management and coaching staff and the players.

“We talked about our expectations and set our goals once we first got together as a team in Auckland in preparation for PNC. On top of the list was winning PNC as a gift for the people of Samoa for our 50th Independence anniversary,” said Betham.

The Scotland match is part of the year long activities in the 50th anniversary celebrations.
