APIA: THURSDAY 30 MAY 2013: Police have confirmed guns were found in a search at sea.

But in a brief release just issued Police said the weapons were found on board two boats not one as reported earlier.
The Horizon and the Last Stall both were anchored offshore of Saoluafata village, the release says.
Saoluafata and Luatuanu’u are neighbouring villages on the eastern coast of Upolu Island.
Found to have overstayed both have been issued deportation orders to depart Samoa within seven days, the Police says.

In the meantime both boats are under Police custody and an investigation of them continues.
