Parliament to be dissolved tomorrow

APIA, SAMOA – 02 MARCH 2021: Samoa’s 16^th parliament will be dissolved at 1000 tomorrow morning.

The ceremony will be attended by His Highness the Head of State, Afioga Tuimalealiifano Vaaletoa Sualauvi II, the Prime Minister, Susuga Tuilaepa Dr. Sailele Malielegaoi, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Afioga Leaupepe Toleafoa Faafisi, Members of Parliament, members of the Diplomatic Corp and invited guests.

The dissolution will cap off a parliament session that has gone into its seventh week.

Samoan voters go to the polls to elect members of the 17^th parliament on the 9 April 2021 general election.
